I have always felt that there is a strong need for legal scholars and practitioners to be well grounded in the practices of the business world. I am pleased to see a law review created for the express purpose of supplementing legal knowledge with business acumen. It is my hope that the Columbia Business Law Review will be successful in accomplishing this objective. While it is true that much business knowledge can only be achieved through experience, the doors leading to this business experience must be opened first. For these reasons, the Columbia Business Law Review has my full support.
